Description

The BORDO™ 6000 Folding Lock features six 5 mm steel bars connected with special rivets, which fold together like a yardstick.     It was what was advertised.

    Instructions were a little hard to follow but when I figured them out it went smoothly.

    Good but Heavy. Best suited for a heavy eBike.

    I bought this for a heavy electric-assist bicycle, for which it works well. But it is far too big and heavy for a normal bicycle. Also, a U-Lock is more secure, if you have the means to carry one.

    So. Its an awesome deterrent, but probably not an overnighter. Thats ok bc the mfr is forward that this is a medium security device.....i like it alot, I am not carrying a 5# chain around, and it fits around bigger stuff than a u-lock. The mechanism is a bit needy... ev'thg needs to be liked up perfectly...the digits, the receiving aperture... I've only had it for a week, but i like the versatility...I think it's going to be a win.??

    sturdy deterent

    This is a good foldable lock and a good deterrent. Of course no bike lock is impervious to a determined bike theif. I wish this lock were a little longer. It mounts well on my ebike. The company that makes my bike recommends this lock. I like the combination aspect of this model.

    Very good bike lock

    Easy to use, though pretty heavy, were deter all but the most serious bike thief. I wouldn't leave it over night in a large city but nothing is toally safe except an armed guard!

    Quick and easy

    I had one of these for my ebike and ordered a second one. As much as I would have liked to have gotten the granite, I hate carrying extra keys. One thing that's different is the case. I bought one a couple weeks back and it had a spring loaded clamp for holding the lock. So you didn't need a lot of room on top to pull it off. This one had a flap and slides into the holder so it requires more clearance. I don't know which design is more current. But the swing clamps work better. I also got this through warehouse and the default numbers didn't work. I tried different combinations and finally 5555 worked. So a little less than ideal, but worked nonetheless. It's just a tad on the short side. Overall, its easy and convenient, And I'd say good for quick trips. I've seen it defeated and would only use it to a supplement for overnight security.

    durable / heavy and strong lock

    The lock is very durable / strong . But not too flexible , its kind of stiff . . and the " head " , where combo is . would be more helpful if it moved a bit more . This , sometimes makes locking it a burden . You need to find something relatively small to lock it to . Overall though . I do like the lock and feel confident locking my new Ebike with it .!

    Heavy duty beastly lock

    This thing is a beast. I have other foldable locks about half the size. This is good and bad. Good for security but heavy. Because security is worth the weight, and the combination lock simplifies life, I give it 5 stars.
