The Spidi Defender Armor Vest was born from the need to protect the chest and the kidneys. From this need came the combination of a back and chest protector.
The Warrior technology is based on highly shock absorbing light composite cell materials. The tangible result is a cat. 2 CE certified back protector, and a cat.1 CE certified chest protector. During certification testing for this type of protector, the required value of residual energy must not exceed 18 KN. The residual energy of a Warrior technology based protector is 7.8KN.
Surprisingly light, thin and comfortable, this safety vest redefines the concept of comfort when applied to safety equipment.
This protector evolves the idea of improved comfort as a factor in improving safety, because it makes riding easier and lets the rider concentrate on the road/terrain. The air canalization system and the internal mesh are aimed at improving Air Circulation, averaging 50% more than regular back protectors.
