Description

The C91 helmet will offer riders some of the best features on the market at a budget-friendly price. Starting with the Advance Polycarbonate Composite Shell. It provides a lightweight helmet with a superior fit and comfort using advanced CAD technology.
The chin bar operates with an easy to use a single lever and is user friendly with gloves. It also includes an internal sun shield with a manual mechanism that moves forward and back with ease. The large top vent allows airflow ventilation throughout the deep EPS channels of the helmet, keeping you cool on rides.
The Super-Cool top liner and cheek pad interior gives additional cooling features with its moisture-wicking anti-bacterial fabric. The C91 is also Smart HJC ready to accept the 10B or 20B Bluetooth systems (*sold separately).

Smart HJC
SMART HJC 20B and 10B Bluetooth communication system co-developed with SENA tailored specially for HJC helmets. SMART HJC can be installed on HJC's various models and due to the compact size and aerodynamic design of the Bluetooth unit; it enhances the overall look and aerodynamic design of the shell.
All SMART HJC devices sold separately.

    I like the helmet. But order one size larger than normal.

    The helmet is a bit tighter than my other hjc helmet. I am a 4xl so my selection is limited. I ordered this thinking I would like to have the COMS unit. After receiving it I tried it on and it is a very tight fit. Due to the battery area on the rear makes the insertion point smaller than normal. This causes it to scratch my temples as it slides past. Once it is on it feels really secure.I have purchased the COMS unit and installation was simple. The music sound quality is fine and call quality is great. It has definitely earned a place amongst my selection of helmets. I am hopping that once the foam has broken in it will loosen up a bit. Over all I think going up to a 5xl might have been a good move. Time will tell.

    Great helmet

    Great helmet. A little tighter than other the same size. For my head it was tight around jaw but will look for replacement pads. Love all the other options on this helmet

    One little issue

    I love the overall design look and feel of this helmet although the wind screen visor is quite difficult to close.

    This is my first new helmet. It is snug on the cheeks! Like…SNUG AF.

    This helmet is very snug on the cheeks, but I guess it really should be. It fits as described.

    Top slide sun shade

    Fit is great, nice and snug and exactly the same as my previous SY-Max 2 helmet. The vents and sun shade levers are the same, but the chin bar latches are a different design that seems to work better than the previous one. The helmet accepted my Cardio Scala G9 intercom perfectly, thanks in part to the top mounted sun shade levers and the speaker-ready recesses behind the ear/cheek padding. I cut out two small disks of stick-on Velcro, the soft side, and the speakers popped right in. I love this helmet.

    Extremely snug

    Snugness changes in the cheeks and forehead after latching. After 4 rides not much better. I believe a size up for this style is required as all my open face and full face are the same size and have never had this issue

    Solid, functional and comfortable

    Bought this for my wife to match my HJC helmet. Just go back from a 4 day road trip and she was very happy with it. She loved the flexibility of the modular face, as well as the full protection. We had a day where we hit elevations above 11,000 feet, rode through rain over Vail Pass, then dropped into a valley that was 94 degrees. Two days later we started the morning at 36 degrees, and were in 92 degree heat within 3 hours. Never got to hot, and never felt cold. From fully open, to vented, to fully closed, both of our HJCs performed flawlessly. Could not be happier with our purchase.
